Our Rental Pricelist shows 30 day pricing, but custom duration rental periods are available. For non-rush orders, please share the following information with us via email or over the phone:

Business Address and Phone
Alternate billing and shipping addresses can be used for orders, but please provide business information for quotations. Operating as an individual is welcomed as well, but please provide an address.

Alternate Business Contact
If the quote is to be addressed to an alternate contact, let us know.

Items Requested, Including Quantities
Some of our model numbers may vary slightly, especially for kits.

Duration of Equipment Rentals
Our equipment rental terms are flexible and support a variety of durations. While pricing for most equipment is based on a standard 30-day rental period, shorter rental terms are available.

  • Industrial Hygiene Products: The rental period begins on the first full day the equipment is in your possession—typically the delivery day if early morning delivery is requested—and ends on the date the equipment is dropped off or picked up by the carrier.
  • Non-Industrial Hygiene Products: The rental term starts one day after the equipment ships and ends the day it is received back at The Modal Shop (TMS). Please note that weekend days are counted in the rental period for these products.

For long-distance or heavy shipments from The Modal Shop headquarters, extending the rental period and choosing economical shipping methods may help reduce overall costs. Invoices are generated continuously and prorated based on the number of rental days beyond the initial period for both product types.

Special Requests or Requirements
Need low frequency calibration on your rental sensors? Paper copies of calibration data instead of on CD or USB stick? Anything extra that could help with your test, let us know and we will do our best to assist.

Special Payment Requests
Let us know if you typically pay beyond Net 30. We can accept credit card payments, and in certain cases may grant extended payment terms with approved credit at a slightly higher rental rate.
