Whether verifying sensors that are out of calibration interval or using fully calibrated units, good practice is to verify performance prior to any important test. Handheld and portable calibration systems not only verify sensor performance, but can also
be used to test additional components including cabling, signal conditioning, DAQ, and alert/alarm levels. Many options are available.

Test sensor should be hand tightened without tools. Unit set to rms, but can be switched to 1g peak, see manual. Unit set to automatically shut off by default. Do not use with accelerometers with sensitivity 5V/g (5000mV/g) or higher, as clipping will occur.

Do not use with accelerometers with sensitivity 5V/g (5000mV/g) or higher, as clipping will occur.
